The public programs of the Dunhuang Contemporary Art Museum are rich in content, covering not only cross-cultural dialogues and art workshops, but also various research and study activities. With its unique cultural perspective, the museum is committed to creating an inclusive, diverse and open Dunhuang cultural exchange platform for the public. It is not only a gathering place for art lovers, but also a meeting point for cultural heritage and innovative ideas, allowing Dunhuang's art and culture to be revitalized in the contemporary era. Thematic art salons/workshops are held regularly. The Youth Program adheres to the purpose of comprehensively improving the aesthetic literacy and spiritual strength of young people, and has carefully designed and carried out a series of fruitful aesthetic education activities. These activities include but are not limited to various art competitions, creative workshops, research and study tours and other branded aesthetic education projects, aiming to stimulate the artistic potential of young people and cultivate their aesthetic vision and creativity through diversified methods.

In art competitions, young people have the opportunity to showcase their talents and continuously improve their artistic level through competition and communication. Creative workshops provide young people with a platform for practice and learning, allowing them to practice and explore the mysteries of art under the guidance of professional mentors. Study tours extend art education to extracurricular activities, allowing young people to feel the charm of art and the weight of history through field visits and experiences. Various art co-creation activities are carried out from different perspectives such as community space, community ecology or community humanities.
